1: The Law of Mentalism

The All is mind; The Universe is Mental.

All phenomena of life exist within the mind.

Everything that happens is a result of the mental state that proceeds it. For anything that exists, thoughts had to form first, which then forms physical reality.

The mind is the basic governing factor of your entire life.

Our dominant mental state regulates our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, assumptions, actions, reactions, circumstances, life experience, and the attitudes we adopt toward them. 

Our reality is determined by our dominant mental state, as it is our consciousness that allows us to interact with reality.

2: The Law of Correspondence

As above, so below; as below, so above.

Your reality is a mirror of your mind.

Your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, assumptions, actions, and reactions directly correspond to the circumstances, life experience, and everything you perceive in the outer physical world.

Also called “The Law of Assumption” this law helps us understand that all the different planes of existence are connected and correlated. 

Something that happens on a physical level has correlation and correspondence with an energy within the mind.

3: The Law of Vibration

Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.

Everything in existence is in a constant motion, vibrating at a specific frequency.

Objects that appear to be at rest are actually vibrating beyond our five sense’s ability to detect.

Even a rock on the ground that appears motionless is still moving at the molecular and atomic levels and beyond. 

As different colors we perceive are simply different frequencies of light (red has the lowest frequency; violet has the highest), and as solids vibrate more slowly than liquids and gases, distinctions between different manifestations are determined by their different rates of vibration.

Changing one's mental state is changing one's vibration by deliberately fixing your attention upon a more desirable state.

Thoughts have their own vibration and can be controlled like tuning an instrument to produce various results of self and environmental mastery. 

Your power over yourself grows as you gain a better understanding of vibration, frequency, harmony, and resonance. 

4: The Law of Polarity

Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.

Everything in life has an opposite, two sides of the same coin: light and darkness, hot and cold, love and fear, varying only in degree. And through the power of mind, can be moved from one degree to another.

If you had never experienced sadness, how could you experience joy? Everything has an opposite on the same continuum. One cannot exist without the other.

The unity of all manifests through creation. Everything manifested has two sides, two aspects, or two poles. 

Opposites are identical in nature, but differ in degree: Hot and cold water, both water, only varying in degree. 

Any thought, emotion, circumstance, or anything else can be changed by recognizing it as a spectrum and choosing the degree that best meets our needs.

5: The Law of Rhythm

Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.

Energy is always in motion, creating cycles and patterns. From earth’s changing seasons, lunar phases, to the circle of life, each phase serves a unique purpose and function, but together they form the whole picture. 

Everything is manifested in motion, to and fro, outflow and inflow. Just like a pendulum, it swings backwards and forwards. There’s a rhythm between every opposites or poles that allows us to transition from one pole to another. 

The cycle of life and death, creation and destruction, rise and fall.

6: The Law of Cause and Effect

Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.

Every action has a reaction. Every cause has an equal and opposite effect. Since we are all energetically connected, everything we think and do is connected.

Whatever we think and do will eventually be reflected back to us, good or bad. Although you may not see the effects immediately, they will reflect back. 

You can make the conscious choice to become your own cause and not just an effect of others and situations and circumstances you find yourself in. Act instead of react. 

7: The Law of Gender

Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles. Gender; manifests on all planes.

Masculine and feminine energy exists in all things. 

This doesn’t relate to sexual gender or how you identify yourself. This represents the masculine and feminine energies which create and procreate in the universe, and which represent different aspects on different levels. 

'Masculine' energy gives out and expresses, rules the will of an individual, and helps put things into action. Masculine energy is practical, visionary, and creative; Taking the form of control, anger, or conflict when out of balance. 

Feminine energy is receptive, facilitating new thoughts, concepts, and ideas, including the work of the imagination. Feminine energy is nurturing, intuitive, and intelligent; Its personal power is weakened and vulnerable when out of balance.

Creation occurs through a balance of both masculine and feminine energies. 

With both masculine and feminine energy, comes thoughtful action that breeds success.

There is both masculine and feminine energy within everyone and everything. Balance in all is key for self-mastery.

The principles run deep. Every time you revisit them, you may gain a deeper understanding of them.

Applying these principles in your life can help you master any creative endeavor that you set your mind to.
